SabryCorp Ltd. Led Seminar for Ministry of Trade and Industry

Cairo, Egypt, July, 2009 - SabryCorp held a joint seminar with the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry last week at the Organization for Standardization and Quality. It was a well attended event, with members of government as well as industry executives from construction and the construction building sectors attending.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Mottaleb, CEO and Co-Founder of SabryCorp, was invited by the Ministry to discuss with government and industry executives the ways that the construction and construction building material industries can advance through nanotechnology. Organized between the Ministry’s Construction Technology Center (CTC) and SabryCorp, the seminar presented the benefits and applications that are currently on the market for these industries.

During the seminar, entitled ‘Nanotechnology in Construction and Construction Building Materials’, Dr. Abdel-Mottaleb discussed the new materials and unique processes available to the construction sector through nanotechnology. Remarkable properties at the nanoscale have unleashed a flood of cutting-edge green technologies targeted at improving manufacturing and building. The seminar offered a navigation of recent developments, opportunities and products that are available and emerging for the construction and building materials sector.

The seminar met CTC’s goal to ‘boost the competitive advantage of the construction industry in Egypt’ by providing an overview of the opportunities and advancements nanotechnology offers the construction and building materials sectors. It was a highly successful event among the numerousgovernment members and industry executives that attended.
